Teacher Tuesday: Kelly Stoks

We asked each of our teachers a few questions to get to know them better!

Meet Kelly Stoks!

When did eft/energy healing first become a part of your life?

I have always been interested in all things energy! I had several experiences as a child which confirmed to me that there was more going on in life than that which we could see physically. As an adult I began to explore various energy modalities and healing techniques, deepening my study in those areas that most resonated with me.

When did you begin teaching/healing? What made you decide to progress from student to teacher/healer?

A few years ago I attended an EFT “tapping” training in South Florida. I knew that this technique was powerful and witnessed people receiving immediate relief from both physical and emotional trauma. However, it was my work with Dr Jonathan Stegall, an integrative oncologist in Alpharetta, that really showed me the power of these modalities. There are not many life situations that are more stressful than a cancer diagnosis and the associated treatments. As I worked with these patients in weekly sessions, I began to see major changes in their stress levels, attitudes, pain levels, hopefulness, and just plain lightness of being. It was so clear! After witnessing these transformations, I spent the following year working with a master trainer to gain my certification. I have now worked with a multitude of clients in North America and the UK, some in person, but most online. My specialty is helping people tap into their personal power and manifest change. Over time my toolbox has expanded and EFT is just one of the techniques I use to help clients achieve their goals. I continue to be amazed and astounded by the healing potential of energy therapies. When you reduce stress, fear, anxiety, depression and past trauma, there is room for joy, freedom, improved relationships, and lots of new opportunities!

What is your personal practice?

I like to begin my day by reading books that improve my knowledge and help me be a better coach. I refer to my personal practice as my MTV, which stands for meditation, tapping and visualization.

If you could be any animal in the world, what would it be and why?

I’m a cat person. They can be playful and cuddly, but also fiercely independent.

What is your favorite quote?

“The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things. Yet still, they began their journeys.”

― Mike Dooley
