We are happy to announce that we will be restarting our aerial classes on June 13th for our aerial class pack holders. We have a new schedule and several class policy changes as well as studio COVID-19 Mitigation Measures.
New Aerial Schedule
Saturday: Aerial Yoga with Kevin at 12:30 PM starts 6/13
Sunday: Aerial Yoga with Mari 12 PM starts 6/14
Wednesday: Aerial Yoga with Wendy at 7:30 PM starts 6/17
Studio COVID-19 Mitigation Measures:
Teachers and clients are asked to stay home if exhibiting any symptoms or if any family members are infected. Current symptoms are known to be: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills/Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore Throat, New loss of taste or smell.
We are disinfecting bathrooms and common areas between classes.
We plan to keep all doors open to allow for air circulation and limit door knob surfaces to touch. Dress accordingly based on outside temperature.
Aerial Class Specific Policies:
All aerial classes will now be 60 minutes.
Clients will either need to bring their own hammock or one will be assigned to them, which will be stored at the studio when not being used by that client.
Hammock positions will be spaced out 10+feet from one another to start and we will gradually return to 6 feet distance throughout the summer.
Given social distancing requirements, we can only accept experienced aerial students and will not be able to provide spotting or physical assistance during class.
To better manage capacity and given our current restriction to experienced aerial students only, we will only have 5 class packs available for purchase (5 aerial classes for $120, 6 week expiration).
We will require a minimum class size of 3. To start, this will also be our max capacity while we are spacing 10 feet apart.
Registration is required 4 hours prior to class. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.
Cancellation is required 24 hours prior to class.
Aerial Hammock Policy
In order to minimize the spread of infection on our aerial hammocks please bring your own hammock to class or we will be checking out hammocks to any client with a class pack. The hammock will be washed prior to your first use. Please bring a laundry bag with your name on it so that you can store your hammock after class and it will remain at the studio. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class so we may connect and measure your hammock for your height. If you would like to purchase your own hammock and have not yet received recommended buying sources from the studio, please email us (email@example.com).
Please assist us by cooperating with the following new studio protocols:
Before You Arrive
Register online and at least 4 hours in advance via our app or website. Classes are subject to change/cancellation based on minimum participant numbers, impact of COVID-19 infection, etc.
We cannot accommodate walk-ins.
Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to class to avoid being charged for the class.
In Studio Protocols
Social distancing - We ask that everyone observe social distancing of 6 feet while in the studio common areas and remain in marked locations spaced out 10 feet in the large practice room.
Mask usage - We recommend clients wear masks when walking around in common areas where 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained.
Keeping hands clean - As always, we have hand sanitizer available for use and request that clients wash their hands when they arrive or use tissue paper to touch knobs and handles.
Credit card only payments - We will move to a cashless payment policy in the studio, only accepting credit card payments. Grey Owl gear may now be purchased online and we are in the process of transitioning more retail items to online.
Storage of personal items - Please bring minimal items with you to the studio. You may leave your shoes outside the practice room and bring necessary personal items (car keys, purse, etc.) along with your mat, props and water bottle into the large practice room. Cubbies are reserved for monthly member prop storage.
Refrain from gathering in the lobby and hallways - When you arrive, please make your way to your location in the large practice room so that we avoid gathering in spaces that do not allow for ample social distancing. Once class ends, please refrain from congregating in the studio lobby or hallway. This will hopefully be a temporary measure but we want to exercise an abundance of caution for the time being.
Bring your own mat and props, water bottles - All props will be removed from the studio initially as a safety measure so please bring your own mat and props. We will discontinue water and tea service for the time being, please bring your own water bottle.
After You Leave
If you become infected, please notify the studio (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we may follow appropriate post-infection protocols.
