We are excited to announce a phased reopening this month!
We’ll be easing back into in-person operations with the following schedule:
May 26th: Monthly Members may start booking in person classes
June 10th: Current class pack holders may start booking in-person (includes aerial yoga, first class begins June 13th)
June 20th: Full opening to community for in-person classes
In accordance with current GA regulations, group classes must observe social distancing space of 10 feet resulting in our class size being reduced to 6 people. When registering for in person classes, be sure to select the class that does NOT say virtual. From the app or Wellness Living, be sure you are on the correct tab to see classes that aren’t virtual.
Live Streaming Will Continue
Given the limited size capacity and the fact that some people will not yet be able or comfortable with coming to the studio, in-person classes will continue to be live streamed.
Pricing for In-Person Classes Will Increase Slightly
In order to continue serving our community in the best and safest way, we will be rolling out pricing and membership adjustments effective June 1st. For the time being, only single class passes will be available for purchase for mat yoga and meditation classes. Please check out the pricing page for the latest information.
We will resume our aerial classes on June 13th. For the latest on aerial pricing and protocols, please check out this blog post.
New membership options have been developed to best serve you going forward. Please contact the studio (email@example.com) if you are interested in learning more about those options.
How We’re Creating a Safer Studio Environment
In preparation for having you back in the studio, here are new studio protocols we want to make you aware of and a short video of what to expect when you come to the studio:
COVID-19 Infection Mitigation Measures
Teachers and clients are asked to stay home if exhibiting any symptoms or if any family members are infected. Current symptoms are known to be: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills/Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore Throat, New loss of taste or smell.
All classes will take place in the large practice room and we have marked locations on the floor to ensure social distancing of 10 feet between people.
Teachers will not provide any hands-on assistance or touching. Aerial students will need to be experienced as teachers will not be able to spot or physically assist.
We are disinfecting bathrooms and common areas between classes.
We plan to keep all doors open to allow for air circulation and limit door knob surfaces to touch. Dress accordingly based on outside temperature.
Some classes that are prop intensive such as restorative may continue to be live streamed only.
Please assist us by cooperating with the following new protocols:
Before You Arrive
Register online and at least 2 hours in advance via our app or website. Classes are subject to change/cancellation based on minimum participant numbers, weather (if outdoors), impact of COVID-19 infection.
We cannot accommodate walk-ins.
Cancellations are required 4 hours prior to class to avoid being charged for the class.
In Studio Protocols
Social distancing - We ask that everyone observe social distancing of 6 feet while in the studio common areas and remain in marked locations spaced out 10 feet in the large practice room.
Mask usage - We recommend clients wear masks when walking around in common areas where 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained.
Keeping hands clean - As always, we have hand sanitizer available for use and request that clients wash their hands when they arrive or use tissue paper to touch knobs and handles.
Credit card only payments - We will move to a cashless payment policy in the studio, only accepting credit card payments. Grey Owl gear may now be purchased online and we are in the process of transitioning more retail items to online.
Storage of personal items - Please bring minimal items with you to the studio. You may leave your shoes outside the practice room and bring necessary personal items (car keys, purse, etc.) along with your mat, props and water bottle into the large practice room. Cubbies are reserved for monthly member prop storage.
Refrain from gathering in the lobby and hallways - When you arrive, please make your way to your location in the large practice room so that we avoid gathering in spaces that do not allow for ample social distancing. Once class ends, please refrain from congregating in the studio lobby or hallway. This will hopefully be a temporary measure but we want to exercise an abundance of caution for the time being.
Bring your own mat and props, water bottles - All props will be removed from the studio initially as a safety measure so please bring your own mat and props ( block, strap, bolster, blanket, eye pillow, etc.). We will discontinue water and tea service for the time being, please bring your own water bottle.
After You Leave
If you become infected, please notify the studio (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we may follow appropriate post-infection protocols.
